The Royal Brazile Family
On Friday, April 16, Aundrea Brazile ’21 became the Rose Festival Princess for St. Mary’s Academy. This news comes two years after Mya '19, her older sister, was crowned as the 2019 Rose Festival Queen. This year, Aundrea and Mya could make history as the first set of sisters to both serve as Rose Festival Queen. This historic possibility would mean “everything and more” to the Brazile sisters.

By Girls for Girls: Lead like a Girl Leadership Symposium
For the third year in a row, St. Mary’s is offering Lead like a Girl (LLG): A Leadership Symposium, created by girls for girls. LLG is full fun for 5th and 6th grade girls, with opportunities to connect with peers from across the city, and participate in curated leadership workshops led by St. Mary's Academy high school students.

St. Mary’s Academy alumna Bendu Yeaney to play in the NCAA Final Four.
Bendu Yeaney, Portland native and four-year varsity player at St. Mary’s Academy, is the first St. Mary’s alumna to play in the NCAA Final Four. She and her Arizona Wildcat teammates will take on the UConn Huskies in the semifinal round on Friday night. It is the Wildcat’s first Final Four appearance.
